Vetark Avimix Multivitamin Supplement For Birds, 50g

Vetark Avimix is a broad spectrum high potency multivitamin and trace element mixture for general supplementation of foods for all cage, aviary, wild and working birds.

Avimix is a blend of Nutrobal and ACE-High mixed in the ratio 2:1) to provide a ready palatable source of essential vitamins and calcium, suitable for routine use. Nutrobal contains calcium with Vitamin D3 and ACE-High contains Vitamins A, C & E.

It contains a calcium:phosphorus ratio of 30:1 which is recommended for the maintenance of adult animals and birds.

The enhanced vitamin and calcium content in Avimix helps maintain adequate levels in birds as part of a routine diet, and is particularly valuable during periods of growth, breeding, showing, moulting, stress and disease.

Avimix can be mixed into home mixes, or home made fat balls, and is also suitable for sprinkling onto food for wildlife. 

Because it is a high potency product, the actual quantity of powder required to achieve adequate levels of intake is reduced when compared to the products formulated as general purpose multivitamins by other companies. This overcomes the palatability problems which can be encountered when supplementing these difficult animals.

Vetark Avimix is designed to be used at part of a routine diet, and complements bird food that may already contain vitamins.

Avimix is recommended for breeding birds, as well as small chicks (although please adjust the dose accordingly). This will give the bird appropriate levels of vitamins and minerals, plus the amount of calcium and vitamin D3 required during these periods.

Usage:

Designed to be added to fruit or soft food. and ideal if your bird eats a lot of fruits, vegetables or soft food.

Sprinkle onto food at a rate of 1 pinch (about 1/8 of a teaspoon) per kilo of bird being supplemented.
