Heavy Duty Vivarium Lock

The Serpentia Vivarium Lock is a heavy duty lock and is supplied complete with 2 keys.

With the Serpentia heavy duty vivarium lock you can keep your reptiles secure and safe.

Specifically designed for glass sliding doors our vivarium lock will both prevent your animals escaping by accidentally sliding the glass and of course it will also help prevent unwanted access to your vivarium and reptiles when they are left unsupervised.

Suitable for glass up to a maximum thickness of 8mm.

The locking barrel slides and locks on the ratchet to a maximum range of 100 mm so please double check your glass doors overlap is no greater than 100 mm maximum.

Slide the vivarium lock onto the edge of one of the glass doors and the ratchet body then slides between between the panes of glass.

It is secured with a two screws from the rear which clamp onto to the glass door.

The locking barrel then slides onto the ratchet body and you then simply slide it into position before you engage the lock with the key.

TIP:  Make sure you slide the barrel onto the ratcheted body in the correct orientation to correctly engage the ratchet when locked.  The flat facing side of the barrel should be positioned towards the edge of the glass door as pictured.
