Providing an artificial source of UV light is often overlooked when keeping birds.

This attractive kit will not only help to provide energy within light naturally for your pet bird, but it will also allow you to view your bird in the most natural way.

PureSun Mini is an easy to use, easy to set up full spectrum lighting kit + UVB light for your smaller pet birds.

It also allows your bird to make their own Vitamin D3. Having optimum levels of Vitamin D3 helps keep your bird in good health. It is essential for proper calcium metabolism, for normal growth, maintenance of strong bones and egg production.

UVA is essential for the psychological health of your bird. Using lighting that emits UVA can also help to curb feather picking and other destructive behaviours.

A high quality flicker free lamp is guaranteed to be UV potent for 12 whole months, based on usage of up to 12 hours per day. 

After 12 months we recommend you replace the bulb.

This Arcadia PureSun Bird Lamp Kit comes with 8 watt Arcadia Bird lamp 2.4% UVB, highly polished acrylic bracket, cable clips to keep the cable away from the bird and fittings kit.

This Arcadia Bird 8watt 2.4% UVB specialist bird lamp will help to ensure fantastic colour vision in pet birds kept inside and allow them to make their own Vitamin D3 naturally.

This sleek lamp is flicker free when used with Arcadia bird fittings and full spectrum + UVB. These lamps have a high CRI and are UVB potent for one whole year of use.

These bulbs are designed to emit 12% UVA and 2.4% UVB. This will promote optimal vitamin D3 synthesis and optimal colour vision. 

This will promote natural behaviour, increase mineral assimilation, storage and use and improve captive breeding.

Up to 10 units can be linked and can be run form one power source.

The Arcadia PureSun-Mini is an ideal kit to provide full spectrum and UVB lighting to small and medium caged birds. 

Suitable species include; Zebra Finches, Canaries, Bengalese Finches, Waxbills, Gouldian Finches, Java Sparrows, Diamond Doves, Budgies, Lovebirds, Lineolated Parakeets, Parrotlets, Cockatiels.

Bird lamps remain UVB potent (within 40% of total output) for one whole year of use.

This is based on using the correct controller and a maximum 12 hour a day photo period. Health concerns should always be reported to a suitable vet who can access the bird properly.

Do not allow birds long exposure to bird lamps at a distance closer than stipulated by the product.

Humans should remain 12” or more away from the lamp.

Lamps should be turned off before cage maintenance is carried out.

Bird lamps should not be sprayed with water directly.

To be sure of UVB potency, replace bird lamps once yearly.
