Pooch and Mutt Duck and Rosemary Probiotic Moist Meaty Treats have not only been created with delicious duck and rosemary to make mouths water, but we’ve carefully selected natural ingredients that do good too, to help look after your dogs’s dental health.

Naturally Hypoallergenic. These treats are formulated with no added artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, with no grain, cereal, gluten, beef, soy, dairy and non-GM produce.

DUCK

An easily digestible protein source rich in iron.

Duck is an excellent protein source that is easy to digest and extremely rich in iron. It can help support dog’s muscles due to the abundance of amino acids.

Some dogs may have allergic reactions to chicken or beef so switching to duck could help alleviate gastrointestinal upset or skin irritation.

ROSEMARY

Antibacterial and aids gum care.

The antimicrobial properties found in Rosemary are useful in treating mouth infections, leading to healthier gums. 

Anecdotal evidence suggests Rosemary can also help prevent serious illness such as heart disease and cancer.

Added benefits of Rosemary include improved digestion, memory and mood making it an all round super herb for dogs.

SAGE

Protects against bacteria.

Sage is a nutritionally balanced, antioxidant rich herb. It is known to be an excellent natural remedy for infections or ulceration of the mouth, digestive tract and skin.

Fibre rich sage can also support healthy digestion which may minimise the malodours associated with bad breath.

SHMP

Helps prevent tartar formation.

Sodium hexametaphosphate (SHMP) binds the calcium found in dental plaque so it can be easily removed via dogs saliva. 

This process prevents the formation of tartar or ‘dental calculus’, leading to fresher, healthier gums.

SHMP can minimise the risk of periodontal disease in dogs. Periodontal disease is the main cause of dental disease and early tooth loss in dogs and cats.

COLLAGEN

Helps gum healing.

Collagen is a natural supplement that is known to protect connective tissue and improve mobility. It is particularly beneficial for maintaining healthy gums, teeth, nails, skin & coat.

Collagen is naturally found in dogs but diminishes in the body over time so it is important to replenish these natural reserves to keep your dog at optimum health.

PROBIOTICS

Aids digestion which can be a cause of bad breath.

Probiotics, otherwise known at the ‘good bacteria’ in the gut, help to maintain healthy digestion. 

Bad breath is caused by bacteria in the gut or mouth, so by helping the good bacteria to flourish they can maintain the balance of good bacteria to promote overall health.

Some studies suggest that probiotics can help to reduce symptoms of gingivitis and also manage inflammation from gum disease.

Composition:

Duck protein (26%), pea flour, glycerin, hydrolyzed chicken protein (10%), collagen (8%), red lentils, pumpkin, hydrolyzed chicken liver (5%), dried rosemary (1%), dried sage (0.5%), fulvic acid (0.5%), sodium hexametaphosphate (0.5%), cantaloupe melon extract (0.01%), Lactobacillus acidophilus HA – 122 inactivated (15×109 cells/kg).

Nutritional additives per kg:

Vitamin C (3a312) 500mg. Contains EU approved preservatives: citric acid (E330), DL-malic acid (E296).
