Pooch and Mutt Duck Bionic Biotic supplement is a best-seller for a good reason. Packed with anti-oxidants, probiotics, fish oil, vitamins and minerals this natural supplement complements all diets perfectly.
This probiotic health supplement is specifically tailored to actively promote solid stools and healthy digestion. Both probiotics and prebiotics promote a healthy gut microbiome, whilst the added antioxidants can help your dog fight off skin infections as they promote a robust immune system. It also provides important nutrients to reduce itching and scratching, with Biotin to help aid healthy fur growth; ideal for those whose itching leads to fur loss or thinning.
On top of this, Pooch and Mutt Bionic Biotic supplement is packed full of other healthy ingredients, thus, we can potentially support and improve health in a number of areas including a dog’s skin, their gastrointestinal tract and their immune system.
By supporting each of these key areas, we can ensure our dogs are fighting fit and can potentially prevent certain health conditions as a dog gets older, helping our pooches to always feel good on the inside and look great on the outside.

Helps to improve digestion.
Chicory Root is a rich source of the prebiotic ‘inulin’ and, in fact, about half of the fibre within chicory root is made up if this prebiotic. Inulin not only provides a source of food for the good bacteria in the lower gut but is also proven to improve digestion.
In fact, inulin has been shown to reduce the odour associated with faeces and to contribute to an animal feeling fuller for longer from their meal, thanks to the increased amount of dietary fibre it provides.
Helps improve skin barrier function to reduce itching & scratching.
Fish Oil contains lots of Omega 3 fatty acids DHA and EPA, which are the ‘good’ fats that the body can’t produce and are vital for good general health. They also play a role in calming the body’s inflammatory response, this reduces histamines that are released from white blood cells and helps to reduce itching and scratching.
One key fatty acid is DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid), which may improve brain function in older dogs. Omega 3 supplementation is also thought to benefit those with heart disease, thanks to its potent anti-inflammatory effects and its ability to lower blood pressure.
PREBIOTICS & PROBIOTICS
Help aid digestion and promote a healthy gut flora.
Fructooligosaccharides (prebiotic FOS) is a strong source of soluble, dietary fiber that is shown to reduce constipation in dogs. This nutritional supplement promotes the development of ‘good’ bacteria (probiotics) in the large intestine and is known to improve over-all gastro-intestinal health. Mannanoligosaccharides (prebiotic MOS) has beneficial prebiotic effects that mimic the properties of cells in the gut lining to attract and reduce harmful bacteria whilst encouraging the growth of friendly bacteria.
We’ve also added an extra helping of probiotics (bacillus subtillis), which contain over 1 billion live cultures ‘good bacteria’, to aid the maintenance and restoration of a balanced gut flora in dogs.
Contributes to healthy skin & fur.
Zinc is one of the most important trace minerals in your dog’s diet, however your pooch has no way to store zinc so it needs to be consumed in a regular supply from your dogs food or supplementation. Zinc helps to create a healthy immune system, good thyroid function and aids healthy skin & coat.
If Zinc isn’t available in sufficient amounts in the body, it can effect the normal division of cells which can lead to dry and flaky skin, causing itching and scratching.
Helps to promote a healthy immune system.
Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) is an essential vitamin that helps to support a healthy circulatory and immune system, it also helps the body to maintain healthy muscles.
Vitamin E is important for a shiny, glossy coat. It helps to protect the cells against free radical damage and aids the immune response.
Contain important anti-inflammatory properties.
Antioxidants such as Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) help to protect against free radical cell damage, this damage is caused by external foreign bodies such as viruses and bacteria. Inflammation is your pets response to help fight and repair against these attacks, and antioxidants help to reduce the inflammation once the threat has been removed.
Bionic Biotic contains a number of vitamins with antioxidant properties including Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E and Vitamin K to help manage the immune response and maintain good overall health.
Supports healthy fur growth.
Water soluble Vitamin B7, Biotin cannot be manufactured by dogs and needs to be ingested through the foods they eat in their diet. It is vital for maintaining healthy hair and skin, and can help improve common skin conditions.
Biotin is also part of the process for healthy digestion, helping to metabolise protein and fatty acids, and break down carbohydrates and fat or energy.
Help to strengthen the immune system.
Beta-glucans help to strengthen the immune system by activating immune cells to fight off infection more effectively, whilst also supporting the maintenance of long lasting protection.
Beta-glucans are a soluble fibre which helps to slow the transit of food through the intestine and reduce blood sugar spikes. It can also help to lower cholesterol.
