You benefit from the courier providing you with a one hour delivery window which they notify you directly via email or text.
You can change this delivery window if its not convenient by responding to the couriers text but should you choose to reschedule the delivery day to another day to that offered then the Frozen Food guarantee is negated so we strongly advise that you are available to take receipt of the delivery upon the day agreed.
Please be advised the courier will require a signature for frozen food orders and will not leave the order at unattended properties.
We package Frozen food in poly boxes along with frozen gel packs (we DO NOT use dry ice) and this ensures the frozen items remain at optimum frozen transit temperatures after shipment.
We cannot guarantee the condition of frozen feeder items delivered after this period.
However if the delivery is held up and its due to our fault or the courier then of course we will take responsibility for the condition of the delivery and refund / replace as is appropriate.
We know it can be stressful waiting for your delivery and we also know you don’t want to wait in all day and be left guessing when it will arrive.
We want to make it as stress free and easy to order frozen food from us so as standard we send your frozen shipments via traceable delivery and for which you will be provided a 1 hour delivery window which you can narrow down to 15 mins as you watch you delivery make its way to you. This is all done automatically at checkout for you which is why you wont also be presented with loads of delivery options.

Frozen Food Packaging
Our frozen feeders are of the highest quality as is our packaging.
We want to ensure that the quality of our feeders is preserved during transit so that when the order arrives with you it is in the same high quality condition that it was when it left us.
So a quick summary of how we pack and handle your frozen order:
Firstly your frozen feeder items are all vacuum packed and labelled with the size and rodent type.
All frozen food is then packed in a polybox.
The boxes we use provide the best thermoregulation properties and are designed for the transportation of perishable human food stuffs so basically they are high specification boxes.
Along with your orders feeder items we also pack the polybox with hydrated ice packs.
The hydrated ice packs encase your frozen rodents and even when defrosted don’t melt (and make your order soggy) and remain inherently cold so further extending the frozen transit times.
Please note as a responsible shipper we DO NOT use dry ice, there are many reasons not to use dry ice but mostly its because we don’t want you to risk dry ice burns (it take only seconds to get dry ice burn from contact)
Once the polybox is packed with the vacuum packed feeder items and hydrated ice packs it is sealed and then placed inside an outer carton and this gives further insulation and protection to the shipment.
As you will also see from our website we don’t post pictures of dead feeders on the basis that if you keep snakes then you know what their food looks like and we figured therefore that its just not necessary to see photos of dead animals.
Dry goods are shipped either by 2nd Class Royal mail or Hermes fully traced ( 2-4 days) depending upon volumetric weight and shipping costs will be detailed as part of the checkout process.
We do not normally combine orders that contain both Dry goods and Frozen food items into one delivery as the two lines have very different and specific packaging and transit requirements and the two product types are sent via different carriers.

Delivery will be via personal door to door delivery. We will agree a delivery charge as part of or discussions when you wish to buy any of our animals.
A direct door to door delivery is the only option we will consider as this is for the benefit of the animals welfare.
Our Service Status
We maintain a Service Status Page where we will detail any information relating to delivery i.e bad weather which will stop us shipping but of course as we understand how vitally important good communication is and how frustrating to you it is when absent so we will to notify you via email or telephone call of anything that could affect your order or prevent us from shipping before you need to contact us.
Scope of Delivery
Our delivery charges apply to UK mainland delivery only. For other locations please contact us to check delivery charges for non UK mainland addresses.
Our minimum order value for frozen feeder orders and before shipping costs are added is £40 – if your order is less than £40 our wesbite wil not allow you to checkout and will give you the option to increase your order until the minimum value is reached.
If you would like to place a frozen order that is less than £40 in value then please kindly contact us first.
We are unable to ship frozen orders to all post codes in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands.
